Department Teaching Excellence Award
The Department Teaching Excellence Award recognizes department cultures that meaningfully value learning excellence. This annual award, instituted in 2002-2003, awards a one-time $20,000 addition to the budget of the department selected for the award. The award selection committee consists of faculty, students, administrators, and a member of the Board of Trustees.
All departments across campus are encouraged to showcase their commitment to fostering a culture of teaching excellence by applying for the award. The deadline for submission of the three-page pre-proposal for the 2008 Department Teaching Excellence Award is January 11 2008. Detailed information is available here.
