Let me tell you something. . .I LOVE Utah State University! And choosing to come here has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Academically the school is a perfect fit for me. It has challenged my intellect and provided many opportunities for me to excel. I am grateful for the dynamics of the school; it is personable enough to stand out and capable enough of providing countless outlets for the future. And the social scene in Cache Valley is unique to the rest of the world. Where else can you sled down a hill on your mattress with nine of your best friends? From the 80's Music Video parties to the late night Beto's runs, the social scene at USU is the only one of its kind. I have never been happier than my days in Logan. I love this school and I truly credit it for molding me into the person I am today.

Growing up in Utah Valley I really had no intention of going to Utah State. At home Aggie Blue is not always the choice of blue and none of my five other siblings had attended USU, so I really didn't give it much thought. It wasn't until my senior year of high school when I had the chance to attend a leadership conference at USU that my eyes were opened. It was actually my first time to beautiful Cache Valley and I was enthralled.

The orange and red-leaved trees scattered throughout the crisp, autumn air, the quaintness of downtown Logan and the bustling campus of USU; I was impressed. And from there things started clicking. I liked the idea of moving away from home to go to school yet still being close enough to run back home every now and again and raid my mom's pantry. I also asked alumni about their experiences at USU and they all raved about it, including some of my favorite high school teachers and counselors. I soon made up my mind and never looked back, and of course there are no regrets!
