  • USU has the only Music Therapy program in Utah and USU students pass their certification at a rate of 100% as compared to the national average of 80%.

Campus


  • USU's Logan campus is about 400 acres and more than 7,000 acres for research state-wide.
  • The concrete "A" was built by the "Be No Club" in 1916, and they started the "True Aggie" tradition.
  • USU is approximately 5-8 degrees cooler than Salt Lake.
  • Cache Valley wears the colorful coats of all four seasons.

Financial Aid and Scholarships


  • USU is ranked as one of the "100 College Best Buys" in the US
  • USU offers more than 50 million dollars in scholarships and financial aid each year to students
  • The USU admission/scholarship application fee is $40
  • The new freshmen resident tuition and student body fees for one academic year are approx. $3,949
  • The new freshmen nonresident tuition and student body fees for one academic year are approx. $11,449
  • The student body fees are about $272 per semester
  • To gain residency status as a student, one must first earn 60 semester credits in Utah
  • Federal Financial Aid comes in three forms: grants, loans, and work study
  • The admission index uses a combination of GPA and ACT/SAT composite score.
