Scholarship Appeals
Scholarship appeals for new freshmen and transfer students must be submitted by May 1, 2009. Appeals will be reviewed by the scholarship committee only after the May 1 deadline. Final decisions and notifications will be emailed to applicants by June 1, 2009. Incoming freshmen and transfer student appeal.
Scholarship appeals for continuing students are submitted through the Financial Aid Office www.usu.edu/finaid/scholarships.
Multiple Tuition Waivers
In general, you can only accept one tuition scholarship offered through Utah State University. In addition, some outside scholarship sponsors will not award their funds if your tuition is already being covered by the University. You can receive tuition waivers to cover up to 100% of tuition. If you receive multiple offers that can only be applied to tuition, and the combination of those waivers exceeds 100% of tuition, you may submit an appeal to the Scholarship Committee. In exceptional circumstances, the Committee may allow some of one of your waivers to be used to help pay for books and supplies.
