Nonresident Transfer Scholarships
(Priority Deadline - February 1; Final Deadline - April 1)
Scholarships will be awarded after the February 1 priority deadline. The number of scholarships is limited, so students are strongly recommended to apply early. Applications received between February 1 and April 1 may be considered based on alternate parameters and available funding. Consideration will not be given to any applicant after April 1.
-
To be considered for scholarships, applicants must:
- apply to Utah State University Logan Main Campus
- begin attending in a fall semester
- have an intent to graduate from Utah State University
- major in a USU program (i.e. students majoring in nursing from Weber State are not eligible for Utah State University sponsored scholarships)
Nonresident students are able to apply for Utah residency after 12 continuous months in the state, establishing domicile, and proof of financial independence (not claimed as a dependent for tax purposes by someone living outside of Utah). Students are encouraged to gain residency during their first year at Utah State as multiple year scholarships will only cover out-of-state tuition for the first year.
Scholarships are effective for fall semester 2009 and are subject to change.
