Academic Excellence:
The College of Science counts a Rhodes Scholar, a Marshall Scholar, nine Goldwater Scholars, four Goldwater Honorable Mention recipients, and four Governor's Scholars among our recent students.

Exceptional Teaching:
College of Science faculty members are recipients of the Carnegie Professor of the Year, the Governor's Medal for Science and Technology and Fulbright Scholar Awards. Three departments, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Geology and Physics, are recent recipients of USU's Teaching Excellence Award.

Postgraduate Success:
The College of Science's strong mentoring of students in pre-professional programs results in medical, dental and graduate school acceptance rates consistently above national averages among our graduates.
