From Dean Doug Anderson
It has been a remarkable year in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. Last December Jon and Karen Huntsman announced a historic $25 million gift that not only named our college but set us on the path to transformation. Students returning to campus this fall will attend class in the newly remodeled George S. Eccles Business Building. The renovation, which encompassed the first three floors, also created a spacious student lounge, state of the art project rooms and significantly expanded the advising center. This is just the beginning.
To continue the campaign, future plans include a new $40 million building that will house innovative Centers in Entrepreneurship, Global Management and Ethical Leadership. These interdisciplinary centers will engage Huntsman students and faculty in focused learning and research activities.
Engaged, expert faculty form the foundation of the Huntsman School of Business and we are seeking funding for Chairs and Professorships. An investment designated for faculty support allows us to hire inspiring new educators and to assist and maintain our current outstanding faculty.

New scholarships are vital to our transformation. Scholarships attract the most promising students who contribute to the learning experience for everyone. They also make the dream of graduation and a successful career in business possible for all, regardless of financial capability.
This is an exciting time to be a part of the Huntsman School at Utah State University. Many of our alumni and friends have already captured the vision for what we can and will be doing. I ask you to join them and take advantage of this unique opportunity to contribute and help fuel our progress for years to come.

School Campaign Goals: $13 Million
We need to raise $13 million to begin to make the transformation of the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business a reality. We will invest those funds in three vital areas.
Faculty
We have excellent professors who have been building the reputation that we now enjoy one graduate at a time. We need to keep those outstanding educators. We need their leadership. We will have the opportunity to hire new professors and they must share our vision of what can be done. We must invest in our valued educators if we are to better prepare our students. With your help we can do it.
Scholarships
Scholarships allow students to focus more effectively on their education while they are here. Alumni and friends can help us ensure that more scholarships based on need and more scholarships based on merit are available. These scholarships attract students who contribute to the learning experience for everyone. Scholarships are the lifeblood of the university and the addition of new scholarships will be an integral part of our transformation.
Facililties
Our need to renovate and expand is long overdue. When it comes to learning, facilities do make a difference. As we raise our sights, our facilities must reflect that new vision. We will be renovating the bottom three floors of the George S. Eccles building, which include the classrooms and computer labs where our students spend much of their time. We are also beginning the ground work that will lead to the expansion of our facilities.
How you can make a difference
It is only when we combine the focus, ambition, passion and ideas with the resources we need to make things happen that we can elevate our game. It is the contributions of each of us that shape what the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business is now and what it can become. I urge you to consider what role the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business has played in your life. I see and interact daily with the students who have entrusted us at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business with this crucial step of their education. I can tell you that they are worth the investment. I hope you will join with me in transforming the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business and taking it to a new level.
