Announcements
For those of you that did an Honors contract this fall semester, please note the following:
The Honors Program will need a copy of your contract work and the attached form by the last day of classes, Friday December 5th. These must be received in our office before we can post the “H” to your transcripts. If you need a short extension, contact the Honors office at amber.summers@usu.edu or 797-2715.
If for whatever reason you are unable to complete your contract this semester, we would like to know what happened. You must write me an email detailing the following before you will be permitted to take on contracts in the future and continue to work on Departmental Honors:
-what happened,
-why you didn’t finish,
-what work you did on the contract,
-what you will do differently next time you attempt a contract.
This email should be at least two paragraphs in length, and should address these questions very specifically, not saying simply “I got busy.” The most important aspect of this is what you will do differently next semester.
ATTENTION HONORS STUDENTS: Please be sure to check out the Honors Announcements page for information on the latest scholarship and internship opportunities whose deadlines for application are fast approaching. If you have any questions please contact the Honors Office.
