Transcript Request (Online)

Official Transcripts can be ordered by logging into ACCESS > Student and Financial Aid > Student Records > Order Transcripts > Connect to Clearinghouse .

Utah State University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via ACCESS. The National Student Clearinghouse offers transcript ordering and other services to assist students to track their student loans and obtain verification of their in-school status. Our secure Web-based services make it easy for you to access up-to-date information on your loans and enrollment status.

The National Student Clearinghouse provides online ordering service for Utah State University students and alumni 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Orders placed after hours are processed the next working day by the Registrar's Office.

To ensure confidentiality and to comply with federal regulations when using the internet, you must authenticate yourself by logging in via ACCESS. This is accomplished by logging into ACCESS providing your Student ID (ANUMBER) and PIN. In addition to the convenience of credit card payment, the online service provides email notifications as orders are received and processed by the Registrar's Office.

The site walks you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees. You can order as many transcripts as you like in a single session. In order to process your request the following information is needed:

  • Student A#
  • ACCESS Pin information
  • Method of payment
  • Fee Payment $2 per copy
  • Fax Fee Payment $5 per copy

Please note that all fees must be paid before a transcript is mailed or faxed.

Ordering an Official Transcript

There are several ways to request a transcript.

  • The first is to come here to the Registrar office and order one in person.
  • The second is by mail. You can find a form on the USU web site, but it isn’t necessary. We need your name, address, phone number, A# or social security number, and birth date. We also need to know any previous names used. Include in the request the exact address where you want the transcript sent, submit $2.00 per address sent to or $5.00 per fax (faxed transcripts may be considered unofficial copies by receiving party), and sign the paper. Sorry we do not accept credit/debt cards in the office, only online.

  • The third way is to order transcripts is online. If you attended before 1980 this option is not available to you at this time.
    First you go to www.usu.edu
    Click on the My USU link located at the top of the page.
    On the left-hand side of the page there is a link to the Access I.D. Look-up. Click on this.
    Type in your Social Security number, and your last name. This should show you’re A#. Please write this down.
    Click on link RETURN TO LOGIN
    Your USER ID will be the A#.
    Your password will be in capital letters the first letter of your first name, the first letter of you last name, your birth month and date, your birth month date and year (mmddyy). Example for John Smith born 01/25/1999 password = JS0125012599. If you have logged in before you would have changed it to something else. If you are unable to login you will need to contact the IT Help Desk to reset you pin. Their number is 435-797-HELP (4357) or 1-877-878-8325.
    When you get to the Main Menu click on STUDENT AND FINANCIAL AID
    Then click on Student records,
    Next click on Order Transcripts.
    You will then need to click on the box that says Connect to Student Clearinghouse
    A new window will then open. Click on Order or track a transcript.
    Next you will click on the link to Order.
    After this point you will just fill in the blank.
    We do not take faxed orders as we don’t have the means to take a credit card payment in the office.
